Trophy for ORGATEC Awards 2025
We designed the trophy for the ORGATEC TOKYO Awards 2025, part of ORGATEC TOKYO 2025—the Tokyo edition of the international office and facility trade fair held in Cologne, Germany.
Inspired by this year's exhibition theme, “Borderless,” the trophy symbolizes the dynamic energy of continual transformation and celebrates the spirit of challenge embodied by the exhibitors.
Based on our ongoing design research focused on revealing the inherent beauty of metal, we explored new expressions using stainless steel sheets. The intersecting metal plates reflect off one another, creating a form that is both simple and complex in its visual language.
The Grand Prix trophy features a special presence, achieved through a gradient baked-on coating that evokes the texture of glazed ceramics while retaining the brilliance of metal.
ORGATEC TOKYO Awards 2025 のトロフィーデザインを担当しました。
今年の展示会テーマ「Borderless」に着想を得て、未来へとダイナミックに変化し続けるエネルギーを象徴的に表現。挑戦を続ける出展者たちの意志と情熱を讃えるトロフィーを目指しました。
ライフワークとして取り組んでいる「金属の美しさを引き出すデザイン」の研究を基に、ステンレス板材による表現を探求。交差するように構成された金属板が互いに反射し合い、シンプルでありながら複雑な表情を生み出す造形としました。
また、グランプリトロフィーには、金属の輝きを活かしつつ、釉薬をまとった陶器のような質感を想起させるグラデーション焼き付け塗装を施し、特別な存在感をもたせています。
